It's been a while so I think it calls for an update again. Schools been a bit busy what with being Vice-Pres of the NCC anime club and high participant in the school paper. Also have been doing fairly well in all my classes this semester. And yet somehow still i manage to keep my Hakkai RP account fairly active. It makes me happy to think that I'm able to do so much.

Things are going to be a bit busy though, starting June. I've been quite a bit low on money, and with all that i have planned coming up the next year it can't really be allowed at all. Finally confessed to my parents earlier this month that I absolutely will be moving out to California on my own starting next January. So we'll see how that all works out when we get to it.

Lets see, well, yes I'm going to be quite busy this summer because of such. Going to be taking summer courses, naturally (it's in my highest attempt to complete two semesters worth f work in one semester). I think overall I will be taking four courses , two in the first half of the summer and two in the second half. All the while it looks like I'll be taking up two jobs as well in order to save up for things. Also going to be busy in fall with five art classes all crammed in one semester. (To think I'm an art major and most of the classes I haven't complete are art courses ::Sigh::))

Anyway! Moving on to the next situation! I know many of you have all been begging for the past, two years now was it, for me to re-upload the Saiyuki Burial Saga. But due to one thing or another I have been unable to comply. Well, thankfully the hard-drive which the series was uploaded onto suddenly decided to start working again. So expect those up here soon! (Hopefully I wont be lazy and neglect everyone again)

Also, one of these days I'd really like to start up a subtitling group if anyone is willing. I'm fairly good at working subtitling equipment (Main program I use is Agisub). But it would help if I had someone to act as a decent translator. I know a bit of japanese but not enough to translate anything accurately, so if anyones willing to help I'll be more then willing to work with you!

And on a final note. It's been over a month now, Saiyuki_Manga has yet to update. what the hell? Sad-cat is sad. (;_:)

Things are quite interesting these days it seems. And I must apologise for not being around so much. I know I owe a lot of people a lot of things and hopefully I will get to it all sooner or later. But as for now, well, can't really do much while your sitting in the middle of county court.

That's right ladies and gentlemen I have, *Insert dramatic overtone* JURY DUTY. Sort of sucks cause I have to work today anyway seeing is my job lasts from 6 to midnight. Guh, today's going to be a long day. Well, if anything at least its not going to last for too long. Only wish I had brought coffee with me. *Is not a morning person*

Anyway my laptop is dying seeing as I had forgotten to charge it last night so this is going to be a quick post. T_T Wish me luck all.

I know, right? Perish the thought I'd one day I'd get an idea crazy enough that I'd want o see other people participate in. Although, I'll tell you all now it's not really a competition so much as a little project for fun that anyone can participate in if they feel like.

It's been stuck in my head for a few days now and so I thought, "why the heck not"?

And so starts my first attempt at the "OC SWAP COMPETITION".

Being a member of DeviantArt we are all artists filled with an extensive amount of inspiration and ideas. Also, because of such many of us tend to have many stories or comics written out as well with your own OC's, or as more people know them as, Original Characters.

Also, if anybody is like me concerning such things, we love seeing fan-art of our OC's from other people. There's always something fun in just seeing your character in someone else's original style. This is what triggers the beginning of the competition--

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO:

Within the next two weeks I will be accepting applications for this project. Not all to complicated, just make up a written description of your own original characters appearance AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE. Drawings of said character nor any personal information about him (AKA name, what the series your making is called, etc.). You can though give hints on his personality as well, if you please. Submit it to me via IM, DEVART-Note, livejournal or youtube message, or e-mail with that characters name as a Title ONLY. Mainly, submit it to me any way in which no one else would see it.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?

Here's the main project. After gaining every possible submission within the allotted time, I am going to randomly draw each description and hand them out.

In other words, if you submitted I'm going to hand you SOMEONE ELSES OC DESCRIPTION. And what you must do, simply enough, is draw out the description of their character as you read it. The descriptions will be handed out at random with equal fairness in hopes that none of you may know who's character you have gotten.

The due date for this segment will be exactly one month after I had out the descriptions. Plenty of time to get a fan-art finished. (After all I'm sure many of you have a life outside of this.) But please, try to put as much effort into this as you will any of your actual pieces, it would be depressing for the person whom that character belongs to if you don't at least try to give it your all.

You can use any medium you please with any means you please. The main thing is to just have fun and anticipate how other people may portray the character you have created! :D

64! I got a fracking 64 on my Bio101 Lecture exam! I am so made of fail it's not even funny! And I wouldn't be so pissed at myself I didn't know that the majority of the wrong responses I got were due to stupid "Sleep-Depression" answers! I mean, I KNEW the answers to most of them! But due to 3 hours sleep and planning for a trip the next day my lowest grade so far just happened to be on one of the MOST important tests all semester!!!! RAAAGGHHHH!!!!!!!!! I mean, he say's he'll drop the lowest grade and all, so I suppose I just didn't fail epically on the Mid-Term as well. I was doing so good this semester! There's no way I should frack it up now!!!! *Has been watching way to much Battlestar Galactica.*

Well, Y-Con is now officially over and done with. And I feel like an adult traveling cross country for my first time in order to go to a porn convention. But yes, not much to say. Made LOTS of friends. Hopefully maybe I'll even keep in contact with come of them. Not to mention ALOT of cosplay pictures. I'm sure a few of you have even seen me roaming the hallways (or lurking in them when I was Aizen). ANYWAY! Here are my piccys! Yes, yes, I know. I haven't visited this site in so very long. Unfortunately my lifestyle has been rather busy as of late. Between work, school, friends, etc. etc. I've barely had any time to enjoy myself as of recently. (Also, laziness has to deal a huge part).

As I'm sure many of you have heard, I'm no longer in Parsons. The 18+ credits was something I was unable to bear. And now, instead am in the process of getting my Associates at Nassau Community. What does suck is that after all this time out of high-school I am only in my 2nd semester of collage.

Things have been going for the better though, at least that's what I think. I'm continuing my Art education, although thinking of switching over a illustration major rather then a technology design one. But, alas, no need to make such hasty decisions until I start going for my bachelors again.

Let me see...

The semesters been good so far. Continuing my Japanese as well as taking some of the less liked, more mandatory classes such as English 102 (again) and Biology 101. One class I've entered, that I've come to strangely enough enjoy, is my Electronic Imaging class. Yes, yes, I know, I'm already a Photoshop wiz. But it's mandatory if I wish to take any of the "cooler" classes next semester.

Oh! Y-Con is coming up! Which mean I'll be traveling cross-country alone for my first time. Woo-hoo! Going to go visit Ani, AKA LonelyDragonsWish (don't mind me been away from LiveJournal so long I forgot how to show icons) at her new apartment in San Francisco. I'm just a little excited. Not to mention I'm in the process of making my Hakkai cosplay, and she's making Aizen one. Oh! I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun!

Also, I've joined the Vingette, NCC's newspaper committee as their photojournalist. Go figure the entire club is composed completely of Otaku. I'm enjoying myself quite nicely. And make a few friends too!

Heh. Ani came to New York fr the summer so we've been hanging for quite a bit. XD been chilling in New York city a lot with her as well. That silly little ting up top was actually when me, her and her friend Jessica all saw this picture booth and decided "why the hell not".

^^;; You're probably wondering about the strange wardrobe though. Heh, well you see, this just so happened to have been on our way to the Rocky Horror picture show when we found it. (it was Anis idea to get all dressed up for". Gah! The acctually announced that I was a Rocky Horror virgin to everyone! >.< So of course I was the first person chosen to stand up in the crowd in front of everyone.

Thankfully for my sake I didn't have to follow the "tradition" and fake an orgasm on stage. Instead just getting a giant "Fuck You" from the audience. >.> Erm... right.

Anyway! Finished my summer courses for the time being and now just working 4 days a week on the boardwalk. Would be more if it weren't fr the fact that I've had so may plans wit so many people. @_@ Nick has been visiting more and more now that he's off from school and working in the city. And Anis spending weekends at my house until she goes back to Calli.

@_@ So yeah... busy busy buy...

Also planning on taking drivers classes over the summer if I can afford them whilst still managing to save up money for going to YCon.

Oh! And! For all those looking forwards to the third Burial installment! I'm so sorry! What with how crazy things have been and how uncooperative the video files been I've barely managed. BUT! I am acctually almost done! The subtitles are finished, I've had them checked and rechecked and the file size problem is fixed. Now pretty much all i need to do is some last minuet editing in the credits and that's it.

... Now if only I can get motivated off my lazy butt and do what needs to be done...

Have been talking to a MySpace roleplay friend of mine recently only for us to have both come across th subject of how interest in Saiyuki RP in general has been severely lacking recently. Sure enough he came up with quite the interesting idea. He signed up for proboard and was able to create a forum-based advanced Saiyuki Role Play Forum.

We may be a bit new right now but we have managed to scrounge together the main four Sanzo-ikkou members as well as a Banri and a Dr.Nii. Of course naturally I'm putting this up in some hopes to put our name out there some. After all, the more people placed in an RP the more fun it is right? So, this is my poor attempt at hopefully catching someones attention and getting them to join. for Saiyuki characters it's first-come-first-serve basis. Also you need to fill out a sign up forum so that we could see if your suited for the character. Also, Original Characters are allowed to be made. Just make sure that they some how are incorporated into the Saiyki-verse and aren't Mary Sue-ish.

1. I ish an artist! Yesh an artist! I likes to draws and paints and do lots of that fun stuff. But the thing I love most about art is getting MESSY! The messier the media the better! Paint clay, etc. I usually end up covered in whatever I'm working with by the end of the day. But heck, what's the point of being expressive if you don't stain some clothing in the process no?

2. I am Bi-Sexual. Not a lot of my RL friends or family seem to know that but a lot of people online most certainly do. I'm a very open-minded person who believes the gender of the person you love should not be what matters but instead their personality.

3. I'm a democrat. Wooo Obama!

4. I'm a really ditsy person. Reeeeeaaaallllllyyyy Ditsy. I know it, my friends know it, everyone knows it. Bu in al truth it doesn't matter. I've never been one to care about what other people say and think it's best to just stay myself no matter what.

5. Despite my tough-acting appearance I'm acctually really sensitive. Not concerning my own matter but I tend to be really nice to people. And if I end up upsetting someone I ge really emotional and belittle myself over it.

6. I also seem to have a BAD case of OCD. I tend to get really finicky over tiny little things and constantly fix them. Also has to do with my fan-girl-ness. If anyone says something that's off I HAVE to fix it. It's proven to get me into a lot of arguments and hurt a lot of peoples feelings during role play. ~.~ (Still have a horribly messy room though. Go figure)

7. Despite my openly-bubbly cheerful-ness, I tend to be fond of really dark things. I love Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. Like fancy black outfits with lots of shiny metal bits. Oddly colored hair, piercings, tattoos, horror movies and books, dark bloody violent role plays, the bad-guys in shows and anime, traterous people and overall almost anything on the darker side of things. I would LOVE to be able to one day hold a look like that myself. >.>''' Butknowing my personality I doubt it would work.

8. I...HATE... DRESSES!!!!! >.o Skirts dresses, make up, anything that would make me look "girly". I was always more of a natural person and a bit of a tomboy then anything else. Usually throwing on the first thing I get a hold of. If I'm ever forced to wear make-up (and on rare special occasion)it's usually natural colors. I air-dry my hair and never do anything funky to it (aka dye, blow dry, or iron it). And the most jewelry I wear is usually a spare hair-piece around my wrist (And a pair of cat ears atop my head every now an then).

9. ^^ I luffles animals! I has a puppy anda kitty and they're the cutest things EVAHHH!!!! ~.~ My little black Bombay kitty Rocky and my big Oreo black and white Labredinger Adrian. (Yes! Fear the pun!)In fact heres never been a time in my life where I've never had pet. I don't think I could live without one. I would grow so lonely. (<-- Attention whore)

10. I'm a hooorrrible dork who loves fellow dorks! Mot people tend to not realize that about me when first looking. Seeing as I'm this tall skinny rather averagish looking girl. But as most of you know I'm a huuuge anime/manga fan. But other then that I love fantasy novels, video games, dungeons & dragons (And all games of the sort), learning about other cultures, drawing, excessive porn (like every nerd out there :P), TV series (especially crime shows, not taking proper care of myself, role-playing, board games an whatever else dorky you could possibly think of. ♥

Ah yes, so there I was one day minding my own business and looking at through Saiyuki_Media as I usually do when I came across an interesting link. You see, someone posted up that a new Journey to the West Game had been introduced in Japan. No, not Saiyuki, Journey to the West. You know, the traditional stuff. But the main implication had been that many of the characters had been voiced by the same seiiyu as Kazuya Minekuras Saiyuki. What can I say, after seeing that I was hooked. And being the dork with an R4 device that I am I immediatly searched for an accessible download.

~.~ Wells as for those of you that don't know, turns out Parsons is pulling some shit with me where they wouldn't give me the transcript unless I returned so library books. And they wouldn't let me return the library books unless I had my ID card which I lost. And they wouldn't let me get a new one until the next semester starts. -.- So yea, Parsons, it likes to be mean to me.

And I have decided, since I can't get my transcript yet that I'm gonna take this semester off to work full time an save up some more money.

Summer job has been okay. Got promoted to supervisor. Oh and for the good 3/4ths of the summer I came down with a case of mono. (Even though I felt perfectly fine). Think got it from my mom actually cause she says people at her job have been getting it. Maybe accidentally drank from one of her cups without knowing it. But yeah, I'm allowed to work and go out again.

And as I'm sure the world over knows another big highlight of tis summer had been subtitling the first episode of Saiyuki Burial. Must admit I got a big head over it. Especially today after seeing that Bane Hunterss had advertised it on the Saiyuki section of their website. Oh and the video got over 6K views over the past two months. *Big BIG head*

Now people are saying they want me to subtitle the Premium Saiyuki OVA for them. I know the first episode has subtitles but the second episode doesn't. Unfortunately though my Japanese is still rater poor. So I asked Nick to pull a few strings for me and gather some of his friends Japanese text books.
